This album is an important stage in my music so far, when I moved from pop through rock to the music with elements of jazz, funk and atmosphere of music of the 70 ́s. This transition began two years ago when I bought a bass guitar nd immediately fell in love with her charms. From this point my music focuses on bass guitar as the dominant instrument. I have always liked the sound of classical trio, drums, guitar and bass, clarity of musical material and color, in this case, claimed mainly by the use of acoustic guitar. To the maximum extent I tried to keep this and make use of both guitars, bass and acoustic
as the main holders of musical material, without overdubing tracks, when for example the bass is playing in the upper positions and tradi- tionally perceived bass line looks as if absent. Thanks to this I maximally re-arranged both guitars in the desired intent to keep the composition simple over the drums sometimes supported by percusions. All this is enriched with winds solos (soprano saxophone, shakuhachi, flute, flugelhorn, trombone). Exceptions are 70’s and spherical Onoria, where an electric guitar is used and on Onoria synthetic pads are used too.
This album does not brings brilliant instrumental performances and rhythmic perfection. It brings the atmosphere and the inner intimacy, spiced up with 70 ́s, jazz, funk and soul. This is an exceptional album with a unique sound, when while recording and processing was used an analog gear (noticeable is the noise of tapemachine) primarily oriented to the vinyl and is designed for You, the exceptional listener. I wish you a nice experience....more
